Quality Technician II 1st shift Monday

Your Role on Our Team:
The Quality Technician II is responsible for inspecting the quality of product and material, following procedures to ensure part and material conformance per specifications. The Quality Technician should be driven to seek out, disposition, and correct problems, and can work with minimum supervision.
You will be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities:
Inspect incoming material and parts per quality specification after being received
Create and complete Quality Standard reports (NCMR’s, SCAR’s and CAR’s) and enter information into database
Perform product and workplace audits with documented results
Control scrap or rejected parts until disposition is determined
Collect and prepare samples for shipment or testing
Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions
Utilize MRB (material review board) processes
Meetings & Admin Report Generation Communication/Follow-up Practice 5S and Safety Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
High School or GED diploma required
Forklift/Reach truck driver preferred
Leadership experience preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills required
Must have working knowledge of basic measuring equipment
High attention to detail
Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time
Must possess basic math and basic computer skills
Working Conditions:
Production Manufacturing Plant & Distribution Environment Stand for long periods of time while performing the audits.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes
