** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor doors, gates, alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems, and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations according to post instructions.

+ Support badge checks, visitor processing, deliveries, and/or after-hours access requests while following site protocols and providing courteous assistance to people at the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
