Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and customer support duties within a technology-focused location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and appropriate emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance-related issues in accordance with site procedures.

+ Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, assisting with directions and general questions, and escalating security-related matters when appropriate.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
