Michael Hatcher & Associates has provided commercial landscape services in the mid-south since 1986. We specialize in commercial landscape installation and maintenance, including irrigation, with a service portfolio that includes professional and medical offices, retail centers, industrial complexes, multi-family developments, and homeowner association communities. We also deliver lawn care fertilization and weed control via the customer-facing brand Master Lawn.

THE ROLE
As a Foreman, you will be responsible for working with and directing a work crew in the performance of the work assigned to the crew on that day. You will maintain a safe working environment, ensure quality control and hit production targets while seeing that customer needs are being met. You will take ownership of the properties assigned and be able to plan out your week with the assistance of the account manager based on the specific needs of these assignments.
This is a full-time position reporting to the FOM. You will lead assigned crew members
Shift: Monday - Friday (some weekends).
- Be accountable and ensure crew performs all work assigned
- Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and accidents to your supervisor and office immediately.
- Train and develop crew members
- Ensure deadlines are met and work within budgeted hours
- Communicate daily with managers for all aspects related to assigned job sites
- Ensure crew observes all safety rules
- Assure that the work is performed to the highest quality standards in accordance with the job specifications
- Respond to specific requests of the client while working on site
- Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic among the crew
- Drive the company vehicle in a safe and competent manner, following company safety policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations for the operating of such vehicle.

The employee will regularly be required to climb a ladder or other structure, reach above their head, and lift or push up to 15 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The stress level is moderate. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
