Facilities Technician I

As part of the Maintenance team, you’ll help create and maintain a safe and productive environment that ensures the successes our employees and customers expect.

• MUST obey all safety rules and procedures including LOTO, PPE requirements, and fall protection.
• Commit to working other shifts or extended hours if needed, willing to answer after‑hour calls, and help establish a world‑class maintenance team.
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment in the distribution center.
• Provide support for all departments in the distribution center to maintain productivity.
• Understand and comply with proper use of PIT equipment, lifts, ladders, power and hand tools, and other required tools and equipment.
• Daily job responsibilities include:
  • Oracle Workorder Management - CM & PM
  • Grounds and General Building Upkeep
  • Paint/Sheetrock Repair
  • Installation of Signage/Labels/Decals
  • Battery Changing
  • Operate Floor Scrubber and Misc Other Equipment
  • General Construction/Assembly
  • Assist with Basic Electrical Repairs
  • Assist with Rack Repair
  • Escort, Monitor, Aid Contractors
  • Maintain Accurate Parts Inventory
  • Run Errands as Needed
  • Other Related Duties as Assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good judgement, detail orientation, and independent decision‑making skills
• Good communication and organizational skills

• Experience working in general construction, warehouse maintenance, or other related fields
• Experience with CMMS Systems and general computer skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights using lifts or elevated platforms.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including heat, cold, dust, noise, and confined spaces.
• Manual dexterity required to operate tools, equipment, and controls safely and effectively on elevated surfaces.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including fall protection, safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.

• Standing for long periods of time
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Able to work in various temperature conditions
• Operation of miscellaneous equipment types
