About the Job

Domino's Pizza is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets the company's standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
• Can operate all store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, clean equipment and facility, and complete associated paperwork.
• Input orders accurately using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Many team members begin as delivery drivers and move into management roles, franchise ownership, general manager, or corporate operations positions.

Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility daily.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co-workers over the phone and in person, and process orders accurately.

• Perform basic math accurately and quickly to provide correct monetary change.
• Engage in verbal, written, and telephone communication to take and process orders.
• Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands to produce precise, rapid movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
• Exposure to smoke, dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and fumes from food odors.

Utilize hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and near-night vision for driving.

Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

• Stand for most tasks; walk on ceramic tile or linoleum in food processing areas.
• Walk short distances between the store and delivery vehicle and to the customer’s location.
• Sit while completing paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting:
  Unload deliveries weighing up to 50 lb, stack onto shelves up to 72 in. high.
• Carrying:
  Move large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of dough weighing 12 lb.
• Pushing / Pulling:
  Move trays on dollies, push a stack weighing up to 7.5 lb.
• Climbing:
  Navigate stairs or ladders during routine tasks; deliverers may navigate five or more flights of stairs.
• Stooping / Bending:
  Perform short forward bends at pizza assembly station and front counter.
• Crouching / Squatting:
  Occasionally stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching:
  Reach above 72 in. to use oven controls; reach down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes; reach forward during topping preparation.
• Driving:
  Deliver pizzas within the designated area, deliver flyers, and door hangers.
• Hand Tasks:
  Use hands continuously; shape dough, handle pizza peel, cutter, box, and cups.

Use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

Deliver product by car to customer’s door, deliver flyers and door hangers. Requires valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.
