This Non-State Service, Time-Limited job opportunity is in the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Division within the Driver's Services Bureau located in CANTON, MS, in MADISON COUNTY. These roles include entry-level positions within the CDL Help Desk, CDLIS, SPEX, Court Coordinator, and other functions where legal and regulatory knowledge and technical proficiency are greater than those of Customer Service Representatives. CDL Help Desk II personnel are tasked with the administration of commercial driver licensing in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
CDLIS and SPEX personnel are tasked with investigating, analyzing, and repairing driver records and their relationships (pointers) within the database. Court Coordinators work with municipal and county courts to improve processes and achieve compliance with reporting requirements. The CDL Help Desk II Staff will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the agency's CDL Division in the Driver Services Bureau.—
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining a deep understanding of federal and state regulations related to commercial driver licensing, including medical certification requirements and the management of prohibited drivers.
* Processing medical card information and prohibited driver notifications in strict compliance with federal and state requirements.
* Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to CDL licensing, medical cards, and testing schedules.

Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience. — Hiring Agency
Preferred Qualifications:
This position also requires experience in driver's licensing, data entry, interpretation of the program guidelines, problem resolution, and providing advice on specific items. The applicant must have at least one (1) year of experience in commercial driver licensing.
