Overview
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, operating equipment like pallet jacks, and assisting in various shipping and receiving tasks. This position offers the chance to transition into a full-time role after just 520 hours of dedicated work, all while enjoying competitive pay and the potential for overtime!
Required Skills
* A team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow warehouse safety protocols
* Excellent communication skills
* Physical stamina to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, and reach for extended periods
* Capability to visually concentrate and listen intently during tasks
Nice to Have Skills
* Prior experience using forklifts or tow motors (though not required)
* Familiarity with packing and labeling processes
* Previous warehouse or logistics experience
Preferred
Education and Experience
* No specific educational qualifications required; a willingness to learn is key!
* Experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated individuals
Other Requirements
* Flexibility to work overtime as needed
* Must be able to grasp and manipulate various packaging components
* Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively
