Gatekeeper

Gatekeeper 3rd Shift 11pm-7am

The Gatekeeper is responsible for ensuring all steps in the process are followed and correcting any errors to ensure orders make it through the system accurately and efficiently.

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions
• Knowledge of all systems in the distribution center
• Verify that incoming and outgoing orders are correct
• Verify that pallets and boxes match what High Jump reports
• Research and fix errors with orders/boxes
• Identify and correct problem scans
• Identify and isolate errors and communicate resolution
• Assist in other areas of the cell as needed, such as material handling, stocking, and packing
• Practice 5S and safety
• React to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to perform work according to instructions within reasonable time
• At least one year of distribution center or quality experience

Production

• Stand for long periods of time while inspecting tools
• Lift 40 pounds occasionally
• Frequent bending and stooping
