The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking products. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. The Associate is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Picking Responsibilities- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas. Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions processed as defined by the SOP.
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly. Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies. Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products. All QC functions processed as defined by SOP.
- Execute all safety protocols and perform all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, keeping a clean, neat, orderly work area and assisting in warehouse security.
- Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- The equipment used can include, but is not limited to, a pallet jack. Assumes responsibility for upkeep of equipment and reporting equipment problems, operating all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.

Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Language:
English (reading, writing, verbal). - Mathematical:
Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform related duties. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy, performing tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Adaptability to change and ability to thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced environment.
