PURPOSE

The Distribution Center Administrator under guidance of the Distribution Center Systems and Compliance Manager, provides administrative support in the areas of compliance, inventory control, scheduling, and timekeeping. The employee will work with customers to schedule receipts and orders. They will work with dock operations team, as well as team leads and supervisors, to ensure timeliness and accuracy of customer expectations.
They produce and manage the paperwork flow through the office keeping detailed accurate records.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collection of information for all distribution centers relating to timekeeping.
- Create receipts and orders using the warehouse management system.
- Work with customers to understand needs and expectations of deliveries.
- Interact with drivers upon check in to assign doors.
- General office support including phone, messaging, scanning, and filing.
- Support creation of new standard operating procedures for specific customers.
- Work as part of a team to ensure compliance in food safety.
- Support training of new associates as needed.
