Warehouse Receiving Supervisor

• Plan, organize, and monitor receiving and distribution of merchandise from suppliers.
• Maintain high receiving productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain staffing levels for the receiving mission.
• Plan and coordinate work; train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate receiving associates.
• Develop crew leaders to oversee assigned crew members.
• Maintain equipment levels and structure for safe, effective receiving operations.
• Monitor merchandise unloading, staging, receiving reports, shipment completeness, and shipment condition.
• Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Monitor paperwork flow from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry.
• Measure receiving performance and locator and receiving-report accuracy.
• Prepare bills of lading for outgoing shipments.
• Lead and supervise receiving agents.
• Counsel, record, and discipline associates as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the receiving department.
• Direct shipments from shipping and receiving platforms to storage and work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
