Warehouse Shipper – Team Lead

• Manage the entire shipping process for picked and ready-to-pack orders
• Assist the department supervisor with daily planning and guide direct staff members to complete Internet shipping mandates efficiently and timely
• Handle department demands, expectations, deadlines, administrative duties, troubleshooting, and problem solving
• Ensure team members follow proper procedures and enforce good safety practices
• Achieve department productivity and quality goals
• Assist with training and follow-up of new team members
• Maintain excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication
• Direct and oversee Internet picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines
• Assist picking supervisors in navigating and prioritizing orders
• Frequently monitor systems and emails to ensure customer satisfaction
• Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards
• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 100 lbs

• Ability to function in environmental conditions and narrow aisles or passageways
• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus

• Open availability; flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse

Demonstrates strong capabilities in managing shipping processes, ensuring productivity and quality goals, and maintaining safety standards in a warehouse environment. Proficient in training new team members and facilitating effective communication across departments.
