Warehouse Returns – Team Lead

• Help plan, guide, and direct staff members efficiently and timely to meet customer demands, expectations, and deadlines
• Perform administrative duties and problem solving
• Process product returns
• Work with warehouse personnel on needed responsibilities
• Answer questions and input accurate return information on customer accounts
• Perform general warehouse duties and warehouse cleanup
• Take ownership for achieving department goals and monitor daily reports
• Manage associate workload appropriately
• Ensure associates follow proper procedures and achieve safety, productivity, and quality goals
• Manage employee relations issues, including coaching, counseling, and corrective action
• Assist in training new associates
• Set the tone for exceptional customer service
• Maintain cross-functional and interdepartmental communication
• Direct and oversee sorting, packing, and processing returns to meet customer deadlines
• Assist Returns supervisors in navigating and prioritizing returns
• Assist the Returns Supervisor with scheduling, monitoring, training, and discipline of department staff
• Conduct department meetings
• Monitor customer returns and emails to ensure customer satisfaction
• Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards
• Perform other duties assigned by the department Manager
