High School diploma and 2 plus years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting; OR has college degree in or actively working toward a degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver's license.
Essential Job Functions- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
- Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
- Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.
