HR Manager, HR Generalist / Talent Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
They will consider a senior HR Manager that is ready to accept Director responsibilities.
What You'll Do:- This position supports 2 plants, the local facility and California facility (minor travel expected between the 2 and possibly HQ)
- Partner with leadership, including working closely with the GM at each plant.
- 'Partner' with the Union. The organization and the union have a strong relationship and work well together. It's not an "us against them" atmosphere. Work to maintain this positive relationship.

- Provide leadership and oversight for the Human Resources department, including staffing, workflow management, team development, and performance evaluation.
- Implement and recommend HR policies, employee relations practices, and employment programs that support business objectives and enhance the employee experience.
- For your assigned site(s), lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development; plan and assign work; conduct performance evaluations; and manage recognition and corrective actions.
- Manage labor relations, administer collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), resolve grievances, and partner with union leadership to maintain smooth operation.
- Conduct thorough and timely investigations into workplace incidents, employee concerns, and policy violations while ensuring legal compliance, confidentiality, and consistency.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and support achievement of the Annual Operating Plan.
- Oversee local administration of corporate-defined benefit programs, ensuring effective communication, accurate execution, and high-quality employee support.
- Monitor compensation practices to ensure competitive, equitable pay decisions in alignment with company guidelines and market data.
- Develop and deliver employee communication strategies that enhance understanding, engagement, and alignment with company priorities.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and record keeping requirements.
- Promote a positive culture aligned with company values, fostering engagement, accountability, and employee well-being.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing HR processes, leveraging data and analytics, and introducing best practices that improve organizational effectiveness.
- Partnering with the organization's HR Leadership Team, integrate HR initiatives, programs, and practices into broader business processes to support operational success.
Min 12 years of experience in HR with the majority within a manufacturing setting supporting all levels of staff within the organization (very hands-on).
Min 2 years of Union experience (a plus to have been involved with CBA's)
Min 3 years of HR leadership experience, ideally overseeing multiple HR management and administrative staff
The ability to travel quarterly to the CA plant and possibly HQ from time-to-time - possibly as high as 30%
