Certification Details
- Staff Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care in the Emergency Department (ED).
- Provides care using nursing process, technology, and resources within institutional philosophy.
- Performs patient assessments, develops and modifies care plans in collaboration with providers, patients, and families.
- Maintains accurate documentation and ensures patient and staff safety.
- Communicates effectively with staff, visitors, and families to promote a healthy work environment.
- Provides feedback to peers for professional development.
Job Details
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
- EPIC experience required.
- Trauma level 2 or higher preferred.
- Required
Education:
ASN. - Preferred Education:
BSN. - Required Certifications & Licensure:
Illinois state RN License in good standing, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association). - TNCC highly preferred.
Job Requirements
- Day shift: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM (12-hour shifts).
- 36 hours per week.
- 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period; call shifts are 13 hours with expectation to be onsite within an hour.
- 2-week nights rotation required for all travelers.
- No block scheduling.
Schedule Information
- Emergency Department (ED) nursing.
- Trauma level 2 or higher preferred.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) highly preferred.
- EPIC experience required.
