Company Overview
We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider delivering High Speed Internet and Voice Services to residential, business, K-12 Education, and government customers throughout multiple states.
Job SummaryResponsible for the installation of all aspects of wireless tower site electronics and hardware, cabling, and electrical where applicable.
Responsibilities- Perform tower safety and rescue training, complete and maintain JSA before each climb.
- Climb and work on communications towers up to 500 feet to install, replace, and repair antenna equipment.
- Use hand tools, mechanical equipment, and check hazards associated with tower climbing and energized lines.
- Inspect completed work to ensure hardware is tight, antennas level, hangers secured, and weather‑proofing installed.
- Run power, ground, fiber, Cat5e and/or coaxial cables; check antenna positioning for azimuths or mechanical tilts.
- Inspect and adjust telecommunications equipment for optimal performance.
- Document work with site photos and detailed reports, using phone and computer software.
- Transport and station equipment safely using utility trucks, trailers, rigs and capstan hoists.
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment instructions; maintain valid driver license as per fleet policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Recent experience working outdoors with basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro‑mechanical equipment.
- Basic computer skills, ability to send emails, and use text‑messaging apps.
- Team‑oriented, safety conscious, reliable on‑site training completion.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Pass drug screening and criminal background check.
Stationary position 8–10 hours per day; frequent movement, lifting objects 50+ pounds; pull own body weight plus equipment up a tower; stand, walk, stoop, sit, climb ladders and towers up to 500 feet.
Work EnvironmentOutdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation, wind; close proximity to heavy machinery, vehicles, high noise level; use of PPE.
Working Hours / DaysIrregular hours, Monday through Friday, full-time (min 40 hours), flexible schedule, overtime as needed, on‑call rotation including weekends.
Travel Requirements20–40% voluntary travel or as needed; overnight travel required as needed.
