Automotive Technician/Diesel Mechanic

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Automotive Technician/Diesel Mechanic in Olney, IL!

As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and excellence of our fleet maintenance services.

$30.00 - $40.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Olney, IL.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience) Pay Frequency:
Weekly pay – every Friday

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium fleet vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
  • Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
  • Document repairs and complete work orders
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Work with supervisors and team members to keep fleets operational

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in performing Diesel & Automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must own and maintain personal tools and toolbox necessary to perform job duties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

Technicians may be exposed to traffic, dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Work may involve lifting heavy objects, accessing tight equipment spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling while performing repairs.
