Established in 1997, Olney Adventist Preparatory School (“OAPS”) is a distinguished Christian educational institution known for its delivery of academically rigorous, compassionate, and personalized instruction to students from kindergarten through 8thgrade.

The Upper School, serving students in grades five through eight, seeks candidates for a full-time Language Arts Teacher. Ideal candidates will be creative and collaborative, with exemplary interpersonal skills. Strong candidates will have a background in teaching middle school Language Arts with a demonstrated commitment to providing differentiated instruction, interdisciplinary partnership, and high-quality Christian education that will equip our students to thrive in high school.

Required

Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of education is required. While applicants with at least three years of classroom teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in progress or completed are preferred, this is not a requirement. We are seeking educators who are passionate about Jesus Christ and inspire students to develop a meaningful relationship with Him. Additionally, we value educators who recognize the importance of diversity, embrace ongoing professional development, and are willing to spearhead new initiatives as needs arise.
