• Instruction: Teach literature, composition, grammar, vocabulary, and critical analysis skills.
• Curriculum Development: Create and implement lesson plans and educational materials aligned with state standards.
• Assessment: Evaluate student work, including essays, projects, and tests, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Classroom Management: Establish a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
• Student Support: Offer academic support, monitor progress, and adapt teaching methods for diverse learner needs.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Collaboration: Participate in department meetings, staff development, and school functions.
• Passion for English education: Inspiring students to explore and learn about literature requires passion and enthusiasm.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a content area, content area expertise, and strong written and communication skills. Certification is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate is a Christ follower who has a desire to educate students and partner with families in a distinctively Christian, multi-ethnic environment.
