Science Summer Camp Director

Club Sci Kidz MD offers science and technology summer camps for children ages 4‑15 years in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, and Montgomery counties. We are currently hiring a DIRECTOR for our Olney
location
.

Weekly salary starts at $750 and is dependent on experience.

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the camp
• Managing staff & ensuring programs are implemented
• Ensuring camper supervision and safety and handling camper behaviors
• Parent communication and interaction
• Maintaining compliance with state regulations

• Certified teacher with at least 4 years teaching experience; other comparable experience considered
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with parents, as well as with handling parent concerns
• Have strong classroom management skills and experience working with children of varying behaviors, abilities and needs
• Possess leadership skills; potential interest in pursuing administration roles
• Strong communication skills & detail oriented
• Love working with kids

• Able to work at least four weeks between June 15‑26, and July 6‑July 31st. Preference given to applicants who can do at least 5 weeks.
• Work Monday-Friday, 7:50am‑5:00pm
• Attend trainings:
  Director Training:
  Saturday, May 16;
  Staff Training, Saturday, June 6; all trainings in Ellicott City
• CPR & First Aid certification (must have certification by first day of camp)
• Completion of Medication Administration Training (will be provided)
• Passionate about working with children and teaching & providing a positive camp experience
