PositionDetails
6‑ to 9‑month contract. The client is located in the Tyson Corner area, requiring onsite presence 3 days a week. The role involves capturing and documenting requirements, supporting Agile ceremonies, serving as the point of contact to development and test resources, and writing complex SQL queries—skills in SQL, and experience with JIRA and Confluence are required. Familiarity with AWS platforms (Aurora Postgres and REDSHIFT) and XML/JSON is a plus.
Qualifications- Degree required
- 8+ years’ experience in mid‑ or senior‑level business analysis or data analysis
- Experience capturing and documenting requirements, supporting Agile ceremonies, and serving as POC to development and testing teams
- Strong SQL skills delivering complex queries, joining tables, and handling large data sets
- Financial industry experience with a GSE is preferred but not required
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence for day‑to‑day work
- Experience on AWS platforms (Aurora Postgres, REDSHIFT) and understanding of XML and JSON
