Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Cerner experience and multiple certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department caring for adult and pediatric patients

• Night shift with 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00

• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required

• Must use Cerner EMR system and have prior Cerner experience

• Role involves providing emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations

• Scrub attire requirements not specified

• Locals within 60 miles are accepted

• Holiday and weekend rotation is required

• Team-oriented work environment

Requirements

• Active RN license in MD or compact state

• Minimum of 2 years recent ED RN experience with both adult and pediatric populations

• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS

• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms

• First-time travelers are accepted
