American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with general surgery experience and on-call availability.
Details- Operating Room unit setting
- Day shift schedule with 8-hour (6:45-15:15 or 10:45-19:15) and 12-hour (6:45-19:15) shift options, 5x8 or mixed scheduling
- On-call shifts defined as 7a-7p or 7p-7a (12-hour blocks), potentially assigned as N12 or D12
- Up to 5 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, averaging approximately 3, with most falling on weekends
- One 12-hour 'buddy call' orientation shift required within the first 2 weeks of the contract, typically on a weekend
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of General Surgery experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Scrubs provided
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate
