To support our HR Systems & Services team, we are looking for an HR Interfaces Manager with solid professional experience in Swiss payroll processes and HR services. This position reports directly to the Head of HR Systems & Services and plays a key role in ensuring accurate payroll execution, while also contributing to the ongoing transition to Workday.
This is a fixed-term contract for 6 Months.
Your main responsibilities- Serving as the interface between the external payroll provider and Alpiq, supervising the efficient and timely execution of all payroll processes
- Acting as the point of contact for employees regarding payroll and time‑tracking questions, in close coordination with the outsourced payroll provider
- Handling various payroll‑related tasks, such as accident reporting, child allowance requests, daily allowance applications and issuing employer confirmations
- Managing interfaces between Payroll and other Alpiq stakeholders (such as Finance), as well as external institutions (such as PKE or the Ausgleichskasse)
- Contributing to the preparation and implementation of the new HR tool “Workday”, specifically focusing on the design, testing and go-life of the future payroll interface
- Providing HR reports on demand
- Preparing and implementing structural reorganizations in SAP
- Reviewing, validating and tracking monthly payroll‑related invoices (pension fund, withholding tax, etc.)
- Completed vocational training or studies in Human Resources Management, Payroll, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in HR services and payroll operations, ideally in an international environment
- Solid experience with payroll processing and time management in SAP
- Profound knowledge of Swiss labour legislation and other relevant HR and payroll regulations
- Strong experience in collaborating with external payroll providers
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
- Fluent in English and German;
French is an advantage - Experience working with Workday is desirable
