Administrative Support Specialist (Part-Time)

The Administrative Support Specialist works with the Freedom Foundation’s leadership and administrative team to ensure operational excellence across departments. This role provides high-level coordination, administrative organization, and project support to help maintain efficient internal processes.

Qualified candidates possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. A desire to advance individual liberty, free enterprise, and limited, accountable government is essential.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to leadership and internal teams.
  • Assist with calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, and logistics.
  • Prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets, and internal communications.
  • Support project tracking and follow-up to ensure timely completion of action items.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Assist with donor correspondence and database maintenance in Salesforce.
  • Provide backup front desk coverage when needed (phones, greeting guests).
  • Support office operations and coordination across departments as assigned.

  • Proven commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfort learning new systems.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Compensation

This is a part-time position. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, with an anticipated range of $18–$24 per hour for the right candidate.
