Position SummaryEvergreen Christian Community is looking for a front office administrator to run our office area. We are looking for someone who loves ECC and the people in it by serving guests, members, staff, and ministry leaders with warmth, clarity, and professionalism. This role supports daily church office operations by overseeing administrative functions, managing office resources, and providing staff support.
This role is designed for someone who is eager to take ownership, build systems, and grow in responsibility over time. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative to make the office stronger, more efficient, and more hospitable.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for walk‑ins, phone calls, and general church email inquiries.
- Help maintain basic office processes and continuously improve systems.
- Support the front office and staff with administrative tasks.
- Answer and route phone calls and messages with accuracy and professionalism.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and church supply ordering.
- Ensure office equipment (copiers, printers, phones) is operational and serviced as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors and facility/maintenance staff when needed.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized front office environment.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance office systems and workflow.
- Support the mission and culture of Evergreen Christian Community through service, teamwork, and a Christ‑centered attitude.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills (in‑person, phone, and email)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team
- Demonstrated maturity, discretion, and professionalism
- Uphold the mission, values, and culture of ECC.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift (up to 25 lbs) for office supplies or event materials
- 1 year of administrative, office, or customer service experience.
- Familiarity with Planning Center.
- Experience with calendar management & organization.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) for office supplies or event materials.
