Salary: $3,485.00 - $4,633.00 Monthly (includes a 2% wage increase effective July 1, 2026)
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has opportunities within our Wildland Fire Management Division that require a positive attitude, teamwork, strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities- Answer a multi‑line phone and fire reporting line
- Clerical support
- Make travel arrangements
- Data entry
- Review and verify reimbursement documents
You must meet all the required qualifications and competencies to be considered for this position. Multiple pathways may apply, such as education, volunteer work, life skills, and experience. Clearly communicate in your application how your skills align with these qualifications.
- Two years of administrative, clerical, or office experience.
- Experience reviewing documents, using basic math, and providing good customer service.
- Desire to learn department programs.
- Possesses friendly and professional communication skills.

- Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and public records retention.

- This position is in a shared office space setting on the 4th floor of the Natural Resources Building.
- No travel is required with this position.
