Position: Data Center Senior Critical Facilities Manager (M3)

Responsibilities

  • Eligibility and Location Requirements: U.S. citizenship required; position located onsite in Saline, Michigan. Relocation assistance may be available.
Required Experience
  • 7–10+ years in critical facilities management, data center operations, mission-critical infrastructure, or power generation/industrial environments.
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
Strong Knowledge Of
  • Electrical distribution systems
  • Mechanical/HVAC systems
  • Generators and UPS systems
  • CMMS/BMS platforms
  • Risk management and incident response
  • Data center cooling technologies
  • Incident response, outage management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Additional Requirements
  • Experience working in 24/7 high‑availability environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Preferred experience in facilities, industrial, logistics, healthcare, construction, manufacturing, or other mission‑critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling support, documentation quality, administrative control, and communication discipline for operational readiness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Facilities, Administration, or related field (preferred; equivalent experience also valued).
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong people leadership with coaching, organization, and staff development.
  • High attention to detail and process accuracy.
  • Strong communication and coordination with operational, administrative, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Service‑oriented mindset with professionalism, follow‑through, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to improve workflows and reinforce execution standards.
Preferred Skills / Certifications
  • Experience with CMMS, Service Now, document control systems, maintenance workflow tools, or related operations‑support platforms.
  • Familiarity with facilities operations, maintenance coordination, vendor support, scheduling support, or site administration practices.
  • Experience maintaining audit‑ready records and administrative controls in regulated or high‑accountability environments.
  • Experience supporting planning forums, work coordination, outage support, maintenance reviews, or site business operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office or similar business systems proficiency.
  • Exposure to data center or other 24/7 critical operations environments.
Physical Demands / Work Environment

This onsite role supports a mission‑critical data center environment. Requirements include frequent walking, standing, sitting, moving through office and operational areas, occasional climbing stairs, and light administrative tasks. Schedule flexibility to support site priorities, operational events, and business needs may be required.
