DescriptionPosition Summary:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Site Director sub directs, and supervises the site activities of the School Age Child Care Program of the South Sound YMCA in the absence of the Site Director or replaces absent staff as directed by the Program Director and/or Sr.
Program Director.

Qualifications:
- Be 21 years of age
- Education:
Completed 30 college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework or equivalent as approved and verified in the electronic workforce registry by DCYF (Department of Children Youth and Families). - Submit your college transcripts to MERIT for evaluation.
- Possess at least two years of experience working with children; volunteers; cooperate with school personnel in a positive, professional manner; maintain a facility in accordance with state licensing regulations and YMCA requirements; relate well to children and their families.
- Training: meet and maintain training standards set by the state of Washington as a childcare professional, including completion of 30-hour childcare basics training and 10 additional yearly hours.
