Urology Physician
Join our team as a Urology Physician and become a vital part of a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
This role offers a unique chance to lead urological services through scheduled clinic sessions, operating room procedures, and on-call responsibilities, all while maintaining a balanced and rewarding professional life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urological care across clinic and surgical settings.
- Manage 24-hour call duties from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, serving as the primary urology provider with APP backup support.
- Handle scheduled OR procedures and clinic appointments, totaling 10-12 working days per month.
- Participate in weekend and weekday coverage as needed to meet patient demands.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with active Urology board certification.
- Valid medical license in the practicing state.
- Proven proficiency in urological clinical practices and surgical procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.
Skills:
- Experience in minimally invasive urological techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems.
- Previous experience in a locum or diverse clinical setting.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Education and Experience:
- Fellowship training in Urology preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Prior experience working in outpatient and inpatient urology care.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation as specified.
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure.
- Must adhere to all institutional and regulatory requirements, including timely credentialing and compliance standards.
