Urology Opportunity in Washington - Travel and Lodging Accommodations Provided

Join a dedicated surgical team in Washington for an interim assignment that balances inpatient and outpatient care. This locums role offers a steady schedule in a Level 4 trauma environment while providing the support needed to focus on patient outcomes.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage at a Level 4 trauma hospital.
• Collaborative environment with 3 NPs/PAs and 2 RNs.
• Comprehensive surgical suite equipped for robotic and laparoscopic cases.
• Patient population includes both adult and pediatric cases.

Schedule

• Only 10-12 days per month-you pick the blocks that fit your schedule.
• 24-hour call coverage with a mix of clinic and OR time.
• Block scheduling available to maximize time off between rotations.
• 3 days of clinic per week during scheduled assignments.

Procedures and Cases

• Perform robotic surgery and laparoscopic procedures.
• Manage Ureteroscopy, Prostatectomy, and TRUS biopsies.
• Handle Renal/Bladder U/S and Incontinence procedures.
• Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) on-site.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in Urology.
• Open to IMLC Physicians with an active Letter of Qualification.
• Board Certification in Urology required.
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Travel accommodations

• Full travel arrangements handled by our internal team.
• Private lodging provided near the medical center.
• Rental car or mileage reimbursement available for each rotation.
