Structural Engineer

Dynamic Engineering & Consulting is an Engineering Consultant based in the Pacific Northwest but provides our services all over the Country. We provide Structural and Heavy Civil Engineering analysis and design for all types of Structures including Buildings, Bridges, and Marine Structures. We serve as a trusted advisor to our clients where we emphasize communication and value engineering.

This is a full-time Hybrid (remote/on-site) role for a Structural Engineer based in Olympia, WA. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing calculations, working with the design team to create Construction Documents, and providing Structural Assessments. They will design and evaluate structural systems implementing wood framed, steel, concrete, masonry, and aluminum. They will assist in preparing detailed engineering drawings by working with a team of Drafters and collaborate with the project team to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

• Proficiency in Calculations and Structural Analysis for building systems
• In-depth knowledge of Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills related to structural integrity
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe (
• Familiarity with current building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team-oriented environments
