Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a skilled technical engineer to provide senior-level oversight, technical leadership, and engineering expertise for overseeing state and federal grant‑funded public transportation capital construction and infrastructure projects. This position will support the successful development and delivery of complex, high‑risk multimodal transportation investments by ensuring projects are planned, designed, constructed, and administered in compliance with legislative intent, grant program requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities include technical oversight of approximately $600 million in public transportation capital investments, including contract and regulatory compliance, risk management, project delivery support, and implementation of technical analysis, policies, and standards.
