** The Opportunity*
* The  
** Project Manager for nuclear engineering services
** will function in a mid-level project manager capacity. You will own multiple medium to large services encompassing studies, plant modifications, and Extended Power Uprate (EPU) projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Provide technical support for client projects with design review services, design engineering services, and development engineering support.

+ Support client projects with feasibility studies, and cost estimates.

+ Provide proposal support for client projects with technical specification preparation, RFP support, and bid evaluation support.

+ Oversee EPC contractors for client projects.

* As a Project Manager in our Nuclear Solution you are the execution hub for our clients and project teams, providing leadership and alignment for successful nuclear generation projects. Black & Veatch is engaged with securing nuclear energy's future through our commitment to the current operating fleet and to the new build market, including the latest advanced reactor designs. ** Key Responsibilities*
* + Actively promotes nuclear and industrial safety culture.

+ Oversees planning, developing, and tracking of Services and/or EPC projects including areas of execution performance, financial metrics, schedule adherence, quality outcomes, contractual compliance, safety performance, and client satisfaction.

+ Manages all aspects of proposals and opportunity pursuits for small to medium Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/Service projects.

+ Works with Discipline Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and Construction Managers to execute projects to a high standard commensurate with the nuclear industry.

+ Manages escalated problems or issues.

+ Manage multiple projects and interface with client management, supervisors, and engineering staff at all stages of project development and execution.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + 10+ years of relevant industry experience with increasing responsibility.

+ 5+ years of experience in engineering services or EPC Project Management.
