Position: Senior Financial Management Analyst (Financial Analysis, Senior Associate)

Summary

Senior Financial Management Analyst (Financial Analysis, Senior Associate) seeks to support a Federal Government client at our Washington, DC location. The analyst will work with the Office of Financial Standards, in coordination with the Deputy Comptroller’s office, to standardize several financial management practices across the agency.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Deputy Comptroller’s office in managing agency financial systems and implementing policies
  • Facilitate operational workflows, scheduling, and logistics
  • Perform reviews and quality assurance of financial data
  • Support cost accounting processes and methodologies across the agency, and coordinate efforts to standardize them according to best practices
  • Coordinate data mining across multiple agency systems for other financial analysis as needed

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in related field
  • Expert analytical, verbal, and written communication skillset to accurately document, report, and present findings
  • Experience with federal accounting/budgeting practices and financial statements
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Momentum Financials or other federal financial system
Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field

For this position, the projected compensation range is $120,000 - $160,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
