Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans, ensuring accurate pricing, structuring, and timely, compliant disclosures
• Achieve or exceed production goals by actively marketing WSECU mortgage products, developing an individual marketing plan, and participating in campaigns and advertising
• Deliver a high‑quality member experience by upholding WSECU’s Brand Promise and collaborating with internal partners to enhance the end‑to‑end mortgage process
• Manage full loan lifecycle, including maintaining an active pipeline, submitting complete loan packages, and communicating proactively to ensure timely closings
• Maintain required licensing and professional expertise, including NMLS continuing education and staying current on products, pricing, systems, and industry trends
• Participate in team and organizational routines, including sales meetings, trainings, and business activities, while supporting team operations as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, monitoring market trends, and supporting process enhancements

• At least three (3) years of demonstrated mortgage loan origination experience, including familiarity with FHA/VA requirements
• College degree in business or closely related field is preferred (related experience may be substituted, year for year, for academic achievement)
• Experience with condos, jumbo loans, and manufactured homes

• NMLS licensing
