The Fiscal Analyst 4 serves as Principal Assistant to the Financial Reporting Supervisor in the Washington State Department of Natural Resources' Office of Finance, Budget, and Economics, managing grant accounting and financial reporting for federal, local, and interagency grants. The role is responsible for analyzing fiscal data, preparing federal reports and billings, conducting reconciliations, and serving as the primary contact for federal audits and grant systems.

This full-time, permanent position requires professional-level accounting expertise and provides support for year-end closing activities and financial compliance across multiple agency programs.

• Five years of relevant experience in accounting, budgeting, finance, or payroll
• At least one year of leadership experience overseeing projects, programs, or supporting teams
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiar with business intelligence/analysis systems such as Smartsheet, Tableau, Oracle, or SAP
• Ability to oversee AP, AR, and payroll accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial statements
