Fiscal Analyst 3 (FA3​/FSD) – Internal

This Fiscal Analyst 3 position works within the Health Care Authority's Financial Services Division to manage Medicaid cash receipts and claims processing using the Provider One system. The role handles daily deposits, claims adjustments, and communications with providers and insurance companies to ensure proper allocation of Medicaid funds. The position reports to the Provider One Accounting Unit supervisor in Olympia and is eligible for telework with one required monthly on-site meeting.

• Four years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, or fiscal operations, OR an Associate degree in accounting/auditing/budgeting with two years relevant experience, OR an
• Proficiency in Provider One, claims processing, and accounting software systems such as AFRS, Enterprise Reporting System, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, interpret and apply federal and state accounting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Experience preparing, balancing, and recording daily cash receipts and bank reconciliations
• Strong communication skills with ability to work positively with diverse audiences and develop productive work relationships
• Ability to plan and prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced environment
