The Administrative Regulations Analyst 3 (Compliance Consultant) works for the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board's Enforcement and Education Division in Olympia. This position provides technical assistance and education to licensed liquor, cannabis, tobacco, and vapor businesses to support regulatory compliance through outreach, consultation, and facility inspections. The role independently plans educational initiatives, conducts compliance inspections, responds to complaints, and develops intervention strategies to achieve voluntary compliance.
Keyqualifications
- Five years of combined professional experience in business administration, public administration, criminal justice, or related field with experience in regulated industries
- Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively both one-on-one and in group settings
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret policies and procedures
- Valid unrestricted Washington State driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to develop presentations and coordinate workshops or training
- Experience dealing effectively with conflict while maintaining customer service
