Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic Timeline- Pull list from PST March 2
- Interview invites sent March 2 – 3
- Oral Board/Medical Skills Assessment March 10-11 – no remote interviews offered
- Chief’s Interview March 12 – 13 – no remote interviews offered
- CPAT Deadline March 18
- Conditional Offers March 18
- Pre-Employment Process – Backgrounds, Medical & Psych – March – April
- Final Offers Early to Mid April
- Start May 2026
- Successful completion of a recognized Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic Training Program of a minimum 750 hours + 250 hours of additional ALS training and/or experience (must be provided before final offer of employment)
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Step 1-Recruit $95,383.53 annually
- Top Step after 4 years: $135,924 in 2026, annual COLA per L468 CBA.
