At the Washington Association for Community Health, we bring community health centers together to collaborate and expand access to high-quality health care statewide. We help community health centers navigate state and federal policy, provide evidence-based health care, and problem solve as a group. Our services include workforce development programs, technical assistance and training, and policy advocacy.

This team player will hold the utmost standard of compliance and be able to navigate communication styles between executive leaders and public leaders.
Position SummaryThe InReach Senior Program Coordinator will report to the Career Pathways Manager and is responsible for maintaining and expanding the Association’s InReach Career Pathways programs network of employer partners. Overarching responsibilities include coordinating with educational institutions as needed, establishing trust and rapport with employer partners, conducting outreach to new networks, facilitating meetings, managing enrollment for new cohorts, and interfacing between employers and students.
EssentialFunctions
- Conduct external-facing program representation, to include communication with current and potential employers, educational partnerships, partner organizations, committees, grant partners, and other relevant contacts.
- Coordinate the expansion of registered apprenticeship programs into additional geographic and professional areas, and develop new pipelines of employers and applicants, within capacity.
- Develop program policies and procedures that align with any identified gaps and/or barriers to program participation, workforce demands, partner feedback, legislation, etc.
- Cultivate and model strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- Contract with and manage external consultants or subcontractors.
- Represent the Association at conferences, work groups, and learning collaboratives.
- Assist leadership in the development of grant work plans, program vision, and organizing and facilitating collaboration among staff as requested.
- Provide data to executive leadership when requested to inform the development of progress reports, grant applications, and/or the Association’s annual report as requested.
- Participate in ongoing educational opportunities, such as technical assistance calls and webinars, and state, regional, and national meetings and conferences as warranted.

- Experience in implementing adult training programs and knowledge of governmental laws, rules, or regulations regarding apprenticeship in Washington.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-stakeholder initiatives convening and supporting collaborative efforts.
- Demonstrated excellence in internal and external customer service.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Access.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral and analytical).
- Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills to effectively manage competing priorities and time to ensure deadlines are met.
- Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, including respect for differences, enthusiasm for collaboration, communication, and celebration; and appreciation for the critical role everyone plays in project and mission implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in health-related field, public administration, or related field. Equivalent relevant work experience may substitute year-for-year for the degree requirement.
- 2 years of progressively responsible experience.
