Position Overview

We are seeking skilled, patient - focused Radiology Technologists (X - Ray Technologists) to join a reputable outpatient orthopedic imaging team serving the South Puget Sound region.

In this role, you will perform high - quality diagnostic radiographic examinations to support accurate diagnoses, timely treatment, and exceptional patient care. This position requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, professionalism, and compassionate service.

You will work collaboratively with physicians, radiologists, medical assistants, and multidisciplinary clinic staff to maintain efficient workflows and a positive patient experience in a busy outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Produce high - quality images with proper positioning, exposure, and technique while maintaining patient safety.
  • Verify patient identity, gather relevant history, and provide calm, clear communication throughout the exam.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and consistently follow ALARA principles for radiation safety.
  • Collaborate with providers, radiologists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, patient - centered care.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, operational readiness, and promptly report issues or malfunctions.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and facility - specific imaging standards, documentation requirements, and compliance policies.
  • Support clinic flow as needed, including assisting with scheduling, room setup, and exam preparation.

  • Strong understanding of radiographic positioning, exposure techniques, and diagnostic image assessment.
  • Experience working in an outpatient or orthopedic clinic setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and patient - care skills across diverse patient populations.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, equipment operation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work efficiently in a high - volume environment.
  • Professional communication skills and a collaborative, team - oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with PACS, EMR systems, and digital imaging workflows.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license/certification (as applicable)
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant radiology experience preferred (new graduates may be considered )
  • Current CPR certification (if required by facility)
    TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X - ray per state/facility requirements
  • Current health certificate and all contract - required immunizations
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment compliance requirements
  • Successful completion of facility orientation and new - hire training
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
