Casual Float Phlebotomist - PAML Labcorp
Location:
Olympia, WA.
Work Schedule:
Flexible Schedule.
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- Valid Washington‑issued phlebotomy license.
- 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience.
- 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy.
- License alternative: application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Pay Range: $22.30 – $27.41 per hour. Float Incentive:
Additional $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.

- Eligibility for 401(k) for employees regularly scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees.
- Mileage reimbursement for float positions.
