Fedelta Home Care is searching for a compassionate, dependable caregiver for a client on Harstine Island. Female client needing support with ADLs, companionship, and some housekeeping. There is a friendly dog in the home. Shifts are Monday
- Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Care needs vary, but your typical responsibilities may include:

• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders and assistance
• Assistance with bathing, grooming, and mobility
• Stand‑by support, repositioning, or lifting
• Companionship—conversation, games, walks, etc.
• Transportation to appointments and errands (as needed)

• $22 – $23.50 per hour, based on experience

This position requires strong time management skills, interpersonal skills, patience, listening skills, and knowledge of generally accepted care standards. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, through various channels, including in‑person, phone, email, and text messages. This position requires demonstrated experience and tact in communicating with diverse populations. This includes the ability to recognize and understand the differences, needs, experiences, values, lifestyles, and ages of the populations served.

Must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires regular local travel and reliable transportation to assigned client locations and does require a smartphone for clocking in/out of the system.

• For Washington State employees:
  Certified Nursing Assistant (C‑NA), Home Care Aide (HCA), Home Health Aide (HHA) license is required to maintain employment (Fedelta does offer a fully compensated licensure program for those interested in continuing employment!) - licenses must remain in good standing during employment.

RN Delegation certification is highly desired. A valid driver's license, satisfactory driver abstracts, and proof of auto insurance are required for individuals who drive while engaged in duties for Fedelta Home Care (not required). Must have the ability to successfully complete pre‑employment and ongoing background checks.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have experience with or the technical aptitude to proficiently use records management systems and health care programs such as Well Sky Personal Care.
