Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Olympia, Washington.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab, including cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures.
  • Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician in maneuvering catheters.
  • Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms, ensure adequate stock, and handle instrument sterilization as applicable.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, including site preparation, draping, instrument and catheter setup, and calibrating pressure transducers and tubing.
  • Operate and perform quality control on all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab; maintain knowledge of related equipment.
  • Record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Monitor patient hemodynamic status during procedures and participate in life-saving measures as needed (e.g., defibrillation, CPR).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
  • Certifications:

    BLS, ACLS; ARRT (R) – CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification; state licensing as required.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods; able to bend, lean, or stoop as needed.
  • Experience with ARRT and related credentials; additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Experience & Environment
  • Bed/Facility: 2 procedure rooms (1 Cath Lab, 1 IR).
  • Experience required: 2+ years; travelers should have Cath Lab experience; IR experience is preferred.
  • Trauma level:
    Level III or higher Trauma Center preferred.
Scheduling & Logistics
  • Start Date:

    ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours:

    40 hours per week; shift 10 hours, days
