Phlebotomist and Senior Phlebotomist Opportunity
This is a combined posting for a Phlebotomist and Senior Phlebotomist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Phlebotomist is responsible for clinical laboratory duties, including:
- Reception and Telephone duties & proficient operation laboratory equipment including HIS/LIS systems
- Specimen handling: receiving and processing; prep & shipping of lab specimens for at Reference Laboratories
- Specimen/patient registration
- Phlebotomy - collection of blood samples by venipuncture or capillary stick; therapeutic blood collection; swab collection of specific Micro samples (per competency)
- Assignment to OP Lab locations; training new staff as assigned
A Senior Phlebotomist is responsible for clinical laboratory duties, including:

Phlebotomist
Required Qualifications:
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
- Six (6) months direct experience as a phlebotomist and/or completion of a Phlebotomy program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training:
Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy training Program/Course approved by WA State.
Phlebotomist, Salary Range:
Olympia, WA, Min: $21.30, Max: $30.26
Senior Phlebotomist
Required Qualifications:
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
- 2 years' experience in a clinical lab setting.
- Experience 7 of the basic skills described in the essential functions of the job description.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training:
Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy training Program/Course approved by WA State.
Senior Phlebotomist, Salary Range:
Olympia, WA, Min: $22.44, Max: $34.33
