– Perform basic clinical tasks including rooming patients, well child checks, wellness visits, and immunizations – Assist with procedures and manage clinical paperwork, including in-basket documentation – Support front-office functions as needed, such as patient check-in/check-out, phone coverage, scheduling, and managing patient messages – Support clinic flow and team collaboration in a busy outpatient family medicine setting – Utilize Epic electronic health records system for charting and documentation – Occasionally float within scope to meet departmental needs and support providers during busy periods

– Knowledge of healthcare terminology and clinical processes – Experience with Epic electronic health records system – Ability to perform basic clinical procedures and support patient care activities – Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and team members – Basic understanding of outpatient clinic operations – Experience in adult outpatient clinics is preferred

– BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required – Valid state license as a Medical Assistant (MA-C or MA-R) with a compact license must be in hand at submission – Minimum of six months of relevant healthcare experience; first-time candidates accepted – Willingness to work day shifts, typically 4×10-hour days, with Thursdays off (subject to change) – Ability to commit to working major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day – Local candidates within 50 miles are preferred;

candidates must confirm availability for interview times and be open to accepting a permanent role after the contract – Flexibility to support occasional front-office duties and floating within scope to meet clinic needs
