HR Manager / Employee Success Manager

ABOVE Home Health — Olympia, WA 98501

Full-Time | Salaried Non-Exempt | $29–$35/hour DOE

Build the team behind life-changing care.

ABOVE Home Health is growing, and we are looking for a strong, organized, people-centered HR Manager / Employee Success Manager to help us recruit, onboard, support, and retain the caregivers who make excellent home care possible.

This is not a basic paperwork HR job. This is a real career opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a growing home care company, help build a strong team, and make a direct impact on seniors, families, caregivers, and the community.

At ABOVE, we believe great care starts with great people. The person in this role will help us find excellent caregivers, CNAs, HCAs, and administrative team members; move candidates quickly through the hiring process; keep onboarding and compliance organized; and help employees feel supported, valued, and successful.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead recruiting efforts for caregivers, CNAs, HCAs, and office support staff.
  • Contact applicants quickly and keep the hiring pipeline moving.
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, reference checks, and hiring follow-up.
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, paperwork, and training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and compliance records.
  • Track caregiver credentials, training, background checks, and renewal deadlines.
  • Build relationships with CNA/HCA schools, job fairs, workforce programs, and community partners.
  • Work closely with scheduling, care coordination, and business development to support company growth.
  • Help new employees feel welcomed, prepared, and successful.
  • Support employee communication, retention, and a positive team culture.
Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is warm but accountable, organized but fast-moving, and able to balance compassion with follow-through.

The right person enjoys people, communicates clearly, follows through on details, and understands that in home care, hiring cannot wait until every shift is already open. We need someone who can help us build a strong caregiver pipeline ahead of growth.

Ideal Qualifications
  • Experience in HR, recruiting, onboarding, staffing, or employee support.
  • Experience in home care, home health, senior care, healthcare, or high-volume hiring preferred.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
  • Comfortable using email, phones, spreadsheets, hiring platforms, and employee records systems.
  • Ability to work with urgency while maintaining professionalism and compliance.
  • College degree or HR certification is a plus, but not required.
Why Join ABOVE Home Health?

You will be joining a growing local company where your work truly matters. This role has direct visibility, real responsibility, and the opportunity to help shape how we hire, onboard, and support our team as we expand.

If you want an HR role where you are more than a file manager — where your work helps caregivers succeed and helps seniors remain safe at home — this may be the right fit.

Pay

$29–$33/hour depending on experience.

This is a full-time salaried non-exempt position
, meaning it is based on a regular full-time schedule and remains overtime-eligible when applicable.

Schedule

Full-time, primarily in office, with occasional local travel for job fairs, hiring events, orientations, and community workforce partnerships.
